THE COMMITTEE

The Old Felician Club is looked after by a small but passionate group of fourteen former students and staff. We are located all over the globe from Suffolk to the USA and our time at Saint Felix ranges from the forties to the noughties.

We give a little of our time each month to keep the club moving forward and if you feel you could give a little of your time too, we would love to hear from you.

  • Life President - Janet Buchanan Smith (Laurie)

    Janet was at Saint Felix School from the summer of 1942 until December 1946, first at Hinton St. George where the school had been evacuated during the war and then Southwold.

    After gaining a degree at Edinburgh University Janet taught in one of the city’s schools before marrying a farmer who subsequently became a politician. Janet was awarded a CBE for her public and political work and was Chairman of the Old Felicians’ Club for many years.
